This fight is for our children, our grandchildren, and the planet.

"They" were telling Obama to give it up from day one too...

...he didn't, and We The People picked him over HRC in 2008.

We The People picked Obama because he ran on populist rhetoric offering a vision of what could, and should, be.

Sanders offers a similar vision, but even stronger, and even clearer.

Sanders' vision is in the tradition of FDR, JFK, LBJ--the great progressives whose policies did more to lift up We The People than any others who have occupied the WH. Hence he was re-elected THREE times (a total of 4 landslides: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_1936).

Furthermore, we know that Sanders will not be transformed into a DLCer upon swearing in (as happened to Obama. Rahm his first Chief of Staff, the June '09 backroom deal with Big Pharma , no bankers in jail, TPP, etc. = end of argument. Still with all that frustration I'm VERY proud that he's been our POTUS, twice).

Obama and HRC battled it out until JUNE 7th 2008 when HRC conceded the nomination. Obama had won by delegate counts on June 3rd. (The Superdelegates had gradually switched to him as the contest proceeded and by May he passed HRC there too).

Today the 'revolutionary' undercurrent of We The People is stronger than it was in 2008. Across the political spectrum We The People are tired of OUR government being an arm of a few billionaires and corporate America. The current revolution is the natural and inevitable 'answer' to the 'Reagan Revolution' (and the DLC/Third Way takeover), which we are still reeling from.

So we have a race. The little Jewish guy from VT that all the pundits and insiders laughed at and ignored is talking straight and offering We The People the first real chance to take our country back since Clinton's DLC turned it's back on us in 1988. Sanders is our voice, "enough is enough!!!"

This fight is for our children, our grandchildren, and the planet.

And for that, we will keep on fighting until our last breath!

One thing I didn't remember about 2008, was that Obama won in part thanks to political machinations that would up with him winning more delegates in Nevada, for instance, with fewer actual votes. To me, that's undemocratic. I want Sanders to win, and I want him to win by simply, and straightforwardly, getting more delegates by getting more votes.

They supported great legislation when elected.

he was elected. LBJ was pretty much your typical benevolent Dixiecrat.

Now, they went on to do great things. But, even then, FDR's Social Security pretty much left out women and minorities. LBJ, didn't end Vietnam.
