Judge threatens subpoena against Clinton over emails

The drip, drip continues.

"A federal judge warned Tuesday that he may have to subpoena former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s entire secret email account, saying he has real questions about whether the Obama administration gave her special treatment."

And then there's this.

"And the judge said he is “inclined” to issue a subpoena eventually, forcing the department to go back to Mrs. Clinton and demand she turn over the entire clintonemail.com system she and top aide Huma Abedin used during their time in the department. "
-That means even her personal emails!

Why not just issue the subpoena rather than say "Hey, I'm inclined to do this, so make sure those emails stay safe until I make up my mind..."

When they ask for the data and the drive has no data, its kind of obvious. Also, I believe there are already court orders to preserve all data, so that would be contempt of court as well.

The Reich will have her on the line in court Congress the House WHILE she is trying to run for President.

How's that going to work out?

If this is still going on in the GE & if she's the nominee, trump will absolutely obliterate her--she won't get the independent vote (she already struggles with that) and I'm afraid we will lose the WH.

14. Serious Question...
Tue Feb 23, 2016, 03:36 PM
Feb 2016

I don't know how likely this is nor is it the point of this post, but what if HRC is indicted for this during the GE assuming she's the nominee? Does the party ask her to step down or remove her from the ticket regardless of whether or not it's voluntary? Can they even do that? If she does step down or she's removed somehow, does SBS take her place on the ticket or would the party get together and just pick someone?

I'm really not familiar with how any of this works. Let's hope this disaster doesn't unfold in reality, as the consequences would be unfathomable.

If something significant breaks after that time the political chips will fall where they may.

Even if she carried the election to victory as soon as the Chief Justice of the USSC swore her in the GOP will wait for him to clear the podium and then start impeachment proceedings, which could be done in the absence of criminal proceedings.

Tue Feb 23, 2016, 04:08 PM
Feb 2016

(Though most October Surprises take place in September - that extra month makes them more effective)

If this blows up at the "right" time, there is nothing the party can do.

So if Clinton is the nominee, you can expect a leaked FBI recommendation for indictment by the end of September. It's a two-fer: destroy the Democrats in the election while also tarnishing Obama's legacy.

A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that State Department officials and top aides to Hillary Clinton should be questioned under oath about whether they intentionally thwarted federal open records laws by using or allowing the use of a private email server throughout Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state from 2009 to 2013.

Sullivan presided over a number of habeas corpus petitions submitted on behalf of Guantanamo captives.

Sullivan presided over Senator Ted Stevens' trial where his indictment was dismissed when a Justice Department probe found evidence of gross prosecutorial misconduct.

Sullivan is presiding over a case, Judicial Watch v. IRS, where there is an ongoing investigation into the 2013 IRS controversy, specifically attempting to determine where the "lost" emails of former IRS employee Lois Lerner went, and what damage to her computer hard drive occurred, and what steps have been taken to recover the information contained in the emails and on the hard drive.
