So...CNN is reporting Trump won the Latino vote in Nevada.

I heard earlier 17% of Latinos are Republican, and apparently the Republican Latinos are breaking for Trump like all the rest.

What does this mean for progressives/democrats? I have no idea. Just thought it was notable.

Strange is the world in which we live...

Than traditional GOP candidates. You would be surprised how many immigrants, Latinos, and AA resent illegals jumping "line" and getting ahead while others have to go through hoops.

Plus he is seen as celebrity and "successful" businessman. Small segments of the population are into that.

Those types I don't think either Hillary or Sanders could win over.

There is another group though...those just pissed at "the establishment" in general, where I think Sanders would have an edge in winning some of them over as the GE candidate.

..Very much dislike those wanting to come here, just like Americans against
any sort of amnesty, It's a superior belief system, Sad shit, and Trump helps their ignorance.
Growing up in Ca. and Nv. I see it everyday except where they are building houses.

then Trump got about 8% of the Latino vote, in a state that is about 20% Latino, so we're talking like 2% or less of the total state VOTING population, in a caucus...

these things can be exaggerated in their significance!
