Unless the Democrats Run Sanders, A Trump Nomination Means a Trump Presidency

Found this delightful little article in my wanderings. This seems like an accurate depiction of what Trump's attacks against Hillary might look like.

One can already imagine the monologue:

“She lies so much. Everything she says is a lie. I’ve never seen someone who lies so much in my life. Let me tell you three lies she’s told. She made up a story about how she was ducking sniper fire! There was no sniper fire. She made it up! How do you forget a thing like that? She said she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, the guy who climbed Mount Everest. He hadn’t even climbed it when she was born! Total lie! She lied about the emails, of course, as we all know, and is probably going to be indicted. You know she said there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq! It was a lie! Thousands of American soldiers are dead because of her. Not only does she lie, her lies kill people. That’s four lies, I said I’d give you three. You can’t even count them. You want to go on PolitiFact, see how many lies she has? It takes you an hour to read them all! In fact, they ask her, she doesn’t even say she hasn’t lied. They asked her straight up, she says she usually tries to tell the truth! Ooooh, she tries! Come on! This is a person, every single word out of her mouth is a lie. Nobody trusts her. Check the polls, nobody trusts her. Yuge liar.”

He'll grind her up and spit her out. People couldn't care less about policy, they like the blood sport. Every Republican in the country will come out to vote against her. Not just because they despise her with the heat of a thousand suns, but also because they think that Obama did to this country what Bush did. It makes no sense but that's what they think. And they're going to come out the way we did for Obama in 2008.

I really don't see any way we win this election. Bernie will do better but how much? Not enough methinks.

I just think for the reasons I've stated that she can't win against Trump. I also think she'd lose to Rubio. She can beat that fucking asshole Cruz though. Hell, I could beat that prick.

If they can predict the outcome of an election that isn't going to take place for more than seven months (and without knowing things like who the VP nominees are, how the debates play out, what happens to the economy, foreign affairs, etc.), it should be a breeze for he/she to tell me who is going to win the hockey championship that will be contested three months from now (particularly since there are fewer variables).
