#WhichHillary reminded the world that JFK was assassinated in JUNE as her explanation for staying in the 2008 race while losing to Obama?

(2,712 posts)MSM is going to run with it.

(11,366 posts)If they run it, as is - the way it happened - then it will illustrate Clinton's true feelings about the "importance" of issues that matter to the AA community.
But, knowing how many are cheerleaders for her, they might try to vilify that young woman, Ashley.
cyberswede
(26,117 posts)This will attract all kinds of attacks on her that miss the point of the REAL issues with her. And it will draw a lot of RWers, too. In fact, I've already read some tweets that are despicable & sexist. I think it will get really ugly before it dies down.
...and there have been 60 new tweets in the time it took me to type this reply.

(46,436 posts)Minor quibble. Did she really say JFK? I don't remember this quote in 2008.

(46,436 posts)I don't think I've ever seen that clip. Insensitive comment about Bobby, and isn't it ironic that the pressure is now on Bernie to drop out for the sake of party unity? Which Hillary, indeed.

(614 posts)it shocked me to the marrow, let me tell you. i've never forgiven her that.
far worse than bill's crass comments about jesse jackson winning SC twice.
it caused quite a stir, and i'll never forget it.
losing RFK brought me to my knees. it brought all of us to our knees.
and i can honestly say, i'd thought we might be recovering with obama, but he only got us to raise our eyes.
not entirely his fault; he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't do anything.
but he made it harder on himself and all of us by owing money to the man.
this is the first time since RFK i've begun to stand tall again. we've all got to stand up to the man. MLK recognized this was the key all along. the man made race up just to keep us fighting amongst ourselves over the scraps that drop from his table, while he makes off with the whole hog.
stand up now, and keep our eyes on the prize.

@HillaryClinton is no different than @realDonaldTrump; they both kicked out a #BlackLivesMatter protester. #whichhillary #FeelTheBern

The friendly Hillary that loves illegal immigrants, or the one that sends them back to a violent country to get killed? #WhichHillary

The one who called blacks "superpredators" or the one who called them her "firewall". #icant #whichhillary

For the life of me, that is a very white crowd!!!!!

(15,021 posts)We have at least one poster here that loves to count the white people and lack of AA people in Sanders' crowds; dying to know what they think here.

(154,021 posts)It was irritating at the time... at this point, sorry for the pun, but white noise comes to mind.
Dragonfli
(10,622 posts)(for those that don't know about the context, it has nothing to do with race)
It is just noise that means nothing yet realizing it for what it is can be quite relaxing.
Here is the sound of white noise, once you tune out those that only bait and insult or those that simply spout vile nonsense.
thanks Nadin, you have greatly helped my blood pressure and chances of being tricked into a hide with your common sense wisdom.

As for his supporters (or those who claim to be), he's no more responsible for them than Hillary is for hers.

How do you think she can ever win the General Election? You might not realize it, but Sanders supporters are fighting to save the Democratic party.
