4. Mitt won't win ... and the Tea Party was not "grassroots" ...

The Tea Party was the angriest part of the GOP base ... the GOP establishment funded it ... and had Fox News and other RW pundits claim it was "grassroots".

Those RW pundits claim that the Tea Party was not just Republicans ... it was people of all parties who were angry at the government. George Will said this over and over.

Of course now we know that George was lying. The TP was created by the GOP establishment. It got the far right wing to vote for Brown in MA, Christie in NJ, and Bob O'Donnell in VA. All moderates Republicans.

They are now trying to do the same with Romney.

It won't work. Women see through it. And with out women, Romney can't win.

7. tea party was originally about limited government

Originally it was a small government republican and libertarian reaction to the idea that both parties were pushing for bigger government (just different flavors of it). The problem was that as soon as it started to get legs it was hijacked by far right donors who jettisoned some of the more libertarian ideas (foreign nonintervention comes to mind).

If Obama wins as I think he will, there will still be a need to rally support for various issues - health care access, gay rights, progressive taxation, women's rights, fair immigration policies, collective bargaining rights, etc.

9. Democrats would be too busy crying in their teacups and blaming Obama

to organize to get anything done! Hell, they had the chance to "organize" instead of waiting for Obama to do it all for them,
and they just sat on their hands, and many didn't even bother to vote in 2010.

When Republicans lose, they talk up their winners and demonize the other side,
When Democrats win, they sit back and do a lot of criticizing their own!
