2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSo... when we have our nominee...
Who thinks it should be a Sanders/Clinton, or Clinton/Sanders ticket? Personally, I think it would be fantastic. Not only would it go a long way towards repairing some of the deep wounds in our party, but it would put two people in white house with very energetic, enthusiastic supporters, with a wide range of political beliefs and policies.
I don't think it will happen, I think the current primary will pit them against each other far too strongly - and perhaps already has... nonetheless... I would love to see one pick the other as their VP. I think that, with that kind of unity, we could really kick some conservative ass... just sayin'

(46,436 posts)i can't see Hillary picking Bernie as her Vice President, and if Bernie were to offer that position to Hillary (which he probably wouldn't), she wouldn't accept.

(4,205 posts)The nominee gets to pick their own VP and they usually want someone who feels pretty much along the same lines, those 2 are so far apart as to ideologies and polarities, totally incompatible ..
