Feb 27, 2016
THE CAPITAL, TALLAHASSEE, February 26, 2016 . Buoyed by support from women and older voters, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton holds a comfortable lead over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Democratic presidential primary in Florida, a new poll shows.
The Quinnipiac University poll, released Friday morning, found that Clinton leads Sanders by a margin of 59 percent to 33 percent among likely Florida Democratic voters. The new numbers come less than three weeks before Floridas March 15 presidential primaries.

(35 posts)voter state would go for Hillary. That was a given from the start. All those poor misinformed senior citizens will have also trusted the TV and vote against their own interest as well. Even if Bernie was to contest the state...who would actually trust Florida to count the numbers? Lol....no Florida is a waste of time and effort and always has been.
But have you noticed all those national polls declaring Bernie now in the lead? Or how about all those other states where Bernie is closing at the speed of a rocket ship.
No, tonight is meaningless and so is Florida. Soon the establishment will no longer be able to hide the Bern.
Peace

(43,182 posts)I can't think of a single election that came down to Florida, ever.
Not one single election. Never.
Nope. It never comes down to Florida....therefore, it's perfectly right to dismiss its Democratic voters as stupid and misinformed.
Welcome to DU.
