"Foreign policy" just seems like a code word

I saw one of the FL polls that showed that Romney was slightly ahead of Obama on foreign policy.

That just boggles the mind. Romney has absolutely no foreign policy or even an agenda, whereas Obama has a record of accomplishments (withdrawal from Iraq and the killing of bin Laden are the two best examples), not to mention tons of experience meeting and negotiating with foreign leaders.

Yet Romney's the more trusted expert on foreign policy?

I've always viewed "foreign policy" as just a code word for "whoever's more willing to bomb dark-skinned people".

The tragedy is, of course, that Obama's drone attack policies are probably a reaction to try to combat this reality. Yet while those policies are weakening his support on the left, nobody on the right notices or cares. So long as a comforting white face appears on the GOP ticket, he or she is automatically going to get the benefit of the doubt on "foreign policy".
