May 21, 2008 -- This was the prevailing opinion among HRC supporters

On DU and elsewhere:

Well, okay, there weren't too many calls for FL and MI to secede from the nation.

Count all the votes, in all 50 states, before declaring the race to be over.

What's changed. What's changed is she is now ahead.

If I were as rude as you are, I would say. DID I SAY IT SLOW ENOUGH FOR YOU? But I don't believe in being so rude.

You can't hold Mrs. Cinton's claque to anything they said yesterday, never mind in 2008.

This IS it for her. If she doesn't make it, she'll NEVER make it. We need Bernie to hang around till the FBI or transcripts, and e-mails are cleared or not. The Queen even suggested just in case in 2008 if Obama gets assassinated she should stay in the race. So I don't know why they're not wanting to wait till ALL the votes are counted.

Well, at least ALL the people interested in voting. May the best woman or man win.
I want Bernie to win but if Hillary wins, fine. If that's what the people decide, I am cool with it. I support democracy.

Obama isn't running. Sanders needed this moment early on. This speech was so good that it was played over and over. This was a massive momentum builder. I'm not talking about the win itself, I'm talking about the man.
