2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumJust to recap...
- Bernie's not a dem. No one will vote for a non Dem.
- Bernie's not a real Dem. He wont even be a blip on the radar.
- Even if he is a dem, Bernie is a complete unknown.
- Bernie's a socialist. No one votes for socialists. He wouldn't even win his home state.
- Bernie will lose 49 states. He'll only win Vt. because it's his home state.
- Bernie only won New Hampshire because it's the whitest state in the union. He wont win anymore.
- Bernie can't win because Hillary has all the endorsements. He doesn't even have one.
- Bernie's handful of endorsements don't mean anything because Hillary has more.
- Bernie lost because Hillary dominated South Carolina.
- Bernie has to concede now, because Hillary won Nevada.
- There's no way Bernie can win now, because Hillary won more states than Bernie during super Tuesday. He should just give up.
We've come a long way from Bernie being an unknown non-Dem that no-one will vote for.
That goal post just keeps moving!

(34 posts)When was the last time a Democrat in the general election won in The South, other than Virginia and Florida? That was a hypothetical question so do not bother answering it, I know the answer. So Hillary won in The South yesterday, all I can say is big deal!

(15,139 posts)at least ten times a day that Bernie wouldn't win a single primary or caucus. I have no desire to revisit him now, but it gives me great satisfaction to know that he was full of shit.

(30,481 posts)Clinton got over one and a quarter million more votes than Sanders yesterday. She got them to the polls. It is abundantly clear the enthusiasm for Sanders has no depth in numbers. That isn't a shot at him, it is a fact that can be seen in real numbers.

Since the states she won't (Super Tuesday) were States that are never going to help us in the General, I'd say Bernie's wins...
...last night (March 1) were 10x more helpful.
