Nebraska is one of only two states which proportionally assigns its electoral delegates. Obama won a delegate in the 2008 general election!

Oopsie!

no wait, we haven't won those since 1964, unlike LA which we won in 76, 92, and 96.

He said this

During the United States federal government shutdown of 2013, Terry refused to give up his salary. He was asked if he would continue to collect his paychecks and replied, "dang straight". He said that he needed his paycheck to pay for his "nice house" and his child's college education, adding that "we cannot handle it. Giving our paycheck away when you still worked and earned it? That's just not going to fly."[25] He later apologized for the statement and said he would put his salary on hold.[26] Terry voted to pass a clean CR and end the government shutdown.[27]

of course he lost. But we still have zero chance of winning that district in the general and this congressman is likely to lose as well.

NC had a similar situation with Congressman McIntyre. He won in 2012 by about 1000 votes in a district Romney carried by about 10. In 2014, he decided not to run. There has been another redrawing since then that made it slightly less GOP but we still have no chance in that district, though McIntyre might.

Still, I think that district could be in play with the right kind of nominee. What I mean is I doubt Clinton could carry the district; Bernie might, but it would still be an uphill battle.

I'm waiting to see the delegate count.

Nebraska: Sanders 14 delegates; Hillary 10 delegates
