Separation of Church and State

religion questions do not belong on the stage. There I said it.

And I hate to point this out, but HRC right now is going for the hyper religious fundy vote.

Definitely was a plant to add a bit of subtle (or not so subtle) spotlight on the fact that Sanders is a Jew rather than a Christian. Which is a not so subtle way of interjecting that by default since most Americans Identify as Christian he is an "other" a certain type of antisemitism used by "polite" Christians. I almost didn't think so until the lady asked what Hillary prayed for, but not Bernie, after all, he is a Jew certain Christians think that means that prayers are only the domain of Christians because only Jesus hears prayers dont ya know.

I wonder why Hilary doesn't pray for all those that died in wars she caused in wars, and coups she encouraged and especially why she doesn't pray for those children she said should be sent back to the slaughter (which once sent back were)

and he said that clearly... and I am not going to explain that one to you. As a Jew I get it. And trust me, we are all but practicing.

the question should not even be formulated, let alone asked.

And that goes for ANY political debate regardless of party.

I expect the "godless Jew" smear from right wing Talibornagains, not from so called liberals.

We all have the the right to believe whatever we wish to believe, but elected officials should not have license to use force, coercion, or persuasion of any kind to attempt to impress their religious beliefs upon others through any advantage of office while in office, directly or indirectly.

Religion has no legitimate place in a political debate. If they want to do religious, they really need to get a room.

A lot of elderly AA voters are avid church-goers. She's popular among them, and so she's speaking to that group, that's all.
