We keep hearing how bad Bernie does with the AA vote, but Hillary does much much

but young people don't vote as much, so they're not as big of a factor as a demographic in many of these races.

The other big thing are independent voters, if here is an open primary Sanders usually carries them by a lot. But many are closed.

6. Young voters are not yellow dog Democrats.

They're not super loyal. They won't always vote the way the party tells them to vote. Many of them just registered as Democrats, and don't get picked up in the likely to vote group.

but Sanders seems to have done better with AA's in a blue northern state than he does with AA's in a red southern state. I have said for almost 10 months that minorities are not monolithic.
