So yeah, I'm zen. I'm confident in where things stand. The bleeding has been mostly stemmed, and Obama continues to lead in enough states to get reelected. Of course, he needs to deliver tonight, but I'm not going to freak out about it. There's nothing we can do except assume he did his homework this time and wait for the underlying trends of the race to keep this one in our column.
But for those of you who screamed all summer that you'd be more motivated if you pretended Obama was 10 points downdo you feel more motivated? I see a lot of hysteria instead. Chill the fuck out."

I don't believe there is a bleeding, I think the volatility expressed in the polls reflects major

The polls are all over the place. Until I see some consistency, I'll dismiss as statistical noise.

People may be flaky, but they don't change there minds on a daily basis when the issues are extremely clear

Put out hysteria laced warning tweets about a terrible PPP poll yesterday -- before it comes out -- and then today everyone should just go ahead and calm down.
I was calm before his breathless PPP tweet yesterday, and I'm calm (if not fucking annoyed) now.
