What is the percentage of Hispanics that vote Democratic? Also, the Trump question.

I think the first question is self-explanatory but the second question is when did Trump move Hispanics towards the Democrats and by how many percentage points.
Before this whole election cycle I had heard the Hispanic vote was more measured between Democrats and Republicans, meaning you didn't have the large majority of Hispanics voting Democratic like Black people do. How much has Trump effected this percentage and shifted Hispanic Republicans to the Democratic party or changed their affiliation to Independent?

and where they are. Cubans are not the same sort of Hispanic as Mexicans. Guatemalans aren't very much like Puerto Ricans. And so on. I'm in New Mexico, a state with a large Hispanic population, which also tends to vote Democratic. Many of our Hispanics are natives, whose ancestor got here centuries ago, but we have a lot of recent immigrants also. From all over the Spanish-speaking world. Of course, the ones who aren't citizens aren't voting, but many of them become citizens and then vote.

in closed primary states like FL and others that have an early deadline to register Democrat. I'm thinking some might have shifted to Democrat early seeing all the success of Trump, deciding having a voice in the Democratic primary might be the best way to go.

I thought this was pretty well known.

It's probably not that high in Florida as many older Cuban-Americans are still republicans but younger Cuban-Americans have move away from that. Also Cuban-Americans aren't the only Hispanics in Florida.

They saw how Obama thoroughly trounced Romney with the fastest growing segment of the population and begrudgingly admitted that they would have to widen their "tent" (cue Mel Brooks... we'll take the N.....s and the chinks but NOT the Irish)... but rather than doing that they seem to be on a path to selecting the one guy who can actually scare off the other 25%!
