6. I know, but I think this is something that has to be said.

Maybe I should have used softer word (prevaricator?) instead. Lying is nothing new to politics (witness the Republican field), but we're not trying to nominate a Republican. HRC's casual lies (a la Brian Williams) and her broader mischaracterizations should be a warning light to all of us. With Bernie Sanders we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to elect someone who is different - someone who is honest, someone with a picture of Eugene Debs in his office.

This is an important election. Hillary has gone for the jugular (Bernie Sanders and communism, Bernie Sanders and the Minutemen, Bernie Sanders and the Sandy Hook victims); maybe it's time we fought back using plain English.

Hillary supporters can be somewhat averse to facts and blunt language gives them an alert excuse.

I would suggest changing your subject line though, maybe to the article headline. Your OP subject line is going to be alert bait.

13. You know, like Sanders I didn't care much about the email scandal before,

but I do now. Like most, I knew a lot about HRC before but what I have learned about her during this campaign puts her corruption on a whole different level than what I previously was aware of.

I agree there's a 99.9% chance that there's something outlandishly shady going on in those emails. But I think Sanders delving into that would be dicey. It's probably best that he doesn't "go there".

If there's something definitely awful, it will come out another way. I will not be at all surprised if that happens, in fact I expect it any time now. Just recently Lynch warned the WH not to stick its neck out propping her up on this issue. That speaks volumes to me. Other highly placed people who should know think there's a problem too. I see little tiny hints surfacing lately that tell me people in her circle are beginning to hedge their bets.

Of course that is all very subjective but those are the things leading me to think something's afoot.

All that is to say related to this OP, I already think she's a crap candidate but now, I'm beginning to agree with this article that the Clintons don't do anything for nothing and there's just too much smoke by now to write it off. Time will tell, but I hope it won't be too late when we do find out what's going on.

The speech transcripts are another matter. I hope Bernie keeps hammering her on that. She bragged about what she said in those speeches during the debates, and we deserve to see for ourselves, especially since she brought it up.

18. from another source: Hillary and fracking

These are difficult things for Clinton supporters to hear because once you latch on to a candidate, it's hard to let go even in the face of facts. And perhaps there are deep political differences - those things - fracking, Honduras, Libya, Kissinger, Goldman Sachs, etc. aren't important to some - they're in the political center, or care only about "social issues". For those who see America sliding into a third world Idiocracy, there are substantial differences. We have the opportunity to elect a real progressive instead of a shapeshifting wolf in sheep's clothing.

Also, as an aside, we are not Republican operatives. I think they would like nothing better than to have HRC to run against or to have in the White House.
