Anyone see a problem with MSNBC having a townhall for just Hillary Mon night?

Yes, they did a townhall for Bernie some time ago where Chris Mathews was yelling over him for the first 15 min telling him that he couldn't get anything done.

I don't feel that Chris Mathews will treat Hillary the same, and it's incredible timing to have one with just her the night before the primary in 5 states.

I think MSNBC is one of the networks that helped make Sanders better known because they booked him regularly and gave him full segments when the big news networks ignored him until last year.

While I do think the network has shifted rightward in the past year, I don't see it as being pro-Hillary and anti-Sanders as some have been complaining. I see it more as 22/24 TrumpthisTrumpthatTrumpTrumpTrump….with a huge helping of Benghazi, emails, on the side.

Perhaps I like Sanders' common sense answers so much that I see all of his appearances as being to his advantage and not as the threat some claim.

Unfortunately to achieve that they need a combination of sports, circus (Trump) and a wallowing in conventional wisdom.

The conventional wisdom part is what keeps the focus narrow, which excludes people like Bernie who are slightly left of center. Right of center is okay though.

and I really don't think Rachel is all that partisan. Tweety's daughter or someone in his family I believe is working for Hillary -- so it's in his interest to try to seem fair.

Why isn't Bernie Sanders appearing?

Was he invited? If not, he should have been.

Even after she first refused an invitation, Ms. Clinton elected to join the Town Hall in Michigan with Bernie Sanders on Monday.

Honestly this kind of a cable news extended commercial will only attract the kind of people that would want to vote for the Hill in the first place.

Isn't it interesting the level to which cable news is bending and flexing to give the Hill every possible advantage in the election. I cannot recall an election that had such lop sided coverage of one viable candidate over the other. It is just so obvious and pathetic.

89. Comcast loves Hillary. So do the other Cable giants.

Comcast owns MSNBC and a host of other media outlets.

Hillary gets more money from telecom lobbyists than all other candidates combined.

Feb. 25, 2016 Big cable companies are placing big bets on a Clinton presidency.

At $357,768, Hillary Clinton’s campaign has received the most money of any of her competitors from telecommunications lobbyists, according to data from Opensecrets.org and highlighted this week by CutCableToday.com. In fact, Clinton takes in more money from Big Cable than all of the other presidential candidates combined. Her telecom money far outstrips that of any of her rivals.

<snip>

However, there might be reason for cable giants to hope, at least if Hillary plans to take any tips from her husband, former President Bill Clinton. Twenty years ago, he signed the 1996 Telecommunications Act, which took big steps to deregulate the industry.

Last June, Comcast executive vice president David Cohen hosted a $2,700-a-plate fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, held at his home in Philadelphia.

Nothing to be done about it though. MSNBC is obviously in the tank for her, as is Tweetie and the Toad, and now, apparently Maddow to boot.

I don't even tune in anymore. CNN seems biased as well but there are occasional flashes of light that manage to make it through the haze every so often.

As a matter of fact, it seems like Faux is sort of drifting into the Reality Universe once in a while as well, though I really don't have the money to buy gold.

MSNBC? They are done.
