Related: About this forumVideo of Hillary praising Nancy Reagan on HIV/AIDS
Here is the video of her on MSNBC. Hillary didn't just make a little slip. She had a whole phony story to tell. Look at how sincere Hillary is as she's telling it. It's like it really happened.
Her good friend and interviewer, Andrea Mitchell (Mrs. Alan Greenspan) had to know Hillary had stepped in it. Andrea tries to soften up Hillary's claim at the end, just as the clip cuts off by saying "Did the fact that she was, behind the scenes at least, so involved..."

(45,098 posts)Are we talking about Hillary Clinton? The same Hillary Clinton who attended dinners with them when Bill was Governor of Arkansas? That's the Hillary that was was grossly misinformed on the Reagans' AIDS record?

(8,352 posts)and that is yours and every sycophant here defending her lies problem.
She told an entire made-up story. She could have said anything else truthful about Alzheimer's research or whatever, but she didn't. She just lied.
That y'all are ok with this is just shameful.

(55,981 posts)record"?? First of all she should have known like most of us knew. Secondly, she has a staff that keeps her informed. I think she was informed and said what she feels and is now trying to walk it back. Was she badly informed when she chose Bush over her own party for the invasion of Iraq? She knows full well what she is doing and saying, she just doesn't like the blow-back.

(10,559 posts)The AIDS crisis was a BIG DEAL. It was not a secret how the government was handling "the gay disease" or how children with hemophilia were being ostracized.
How can you be misinformed about something you actually lived through?
Here is a blast from the past - First Lady Hillary Clinton honoring Princess Diana for her charitable work in 1996:

This is a classic Hillary mistake, and it was incredibly offensive. I'd like you to picture what you would consider an appropriate reaction if George Bush Jr had committed this gaffe.
Yeah - it's that level of ICK!
