David Gergen on CNN just said this could cost Trump the nomination.

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by tammywammy (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

His reasoning was most normal people will watch this and will think we cannot have a candidate that inspires this sort of violence in politics. I agree.
