First the Trump rally was on, then it was off, then the venue was being changed, and the story goes on and on...it appears people all over the country have decided Trump is not something they want in their front or backyard, and especially not if he has a podium and a stump.
Update: Donald Trump has scheduled a campaign stop at the Savannah Center in West Chester on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Previous report: Donald Trump is no longer planning a rally in Downtown on Sunday afternoon.
The Secret Service security supporting the GOP presidential front runner's campaign could not complete its preparation work in time to hold the event at the Duke Energy Convention Center, said Eric Deters, a local spokesman for Trump's campaign.
"Trump wants to come here, and the campaign is still looking to find a location for either Sunday or Monday," Deters said.

Is this the beginning of the end for Trump?

(3,937 posts)A friend of mine went to a business meeting which Trump attended 10 years ago. Trump had at least 6 bodyguards for a business meeting... ?
Now perhaps he scared of his own circus. Most bullies are cowards doing their best to hide it by acting tough.

(1,508 posts)This is the kind of person that probably has never been in an actual fist fight in his life. He's trying to convince others he is tough which as you say is the first sign of a coward. We calling selling wolf tickets, or all bark and no bite.

(1,377 posts)Myself I had one while I was in the Military. And I served in Iraq during Persian Gulf and Also was in Somalia. Not to say I did anything special over coming a bone spur. It is just a extra calcium build up and a just a reason someone like Trump uses when daddy buys his way out of a draft.

(1,508 posts)And yes, I did active duty in Vietnam as a nurse. Anybody who used any excuse for not going, for not serving their country in those days especially since the draft was enacted so that all people would spend at least 2 years defending their country I have no sympathy for. I am female, and joined the military when I really didn't have to, but I wanted to do my part to help the troops, not so much because I was in support of the effort. The wealthy, and most of the politicians that run for office in this nation have had deferments of one kind or another that ordinary citizens would never have been able to get. A bone spur....LOL!!!

(6,346 posts)And what a surprise that his local spokesman is a Deters...we get Dennis as our newly anointed County Commissioner, we get Joe as the local prosecutor who still struggles with unbiased prosecutions (in spite of his Ray Tensing decision).
Gotta love "local politics" in Cincinnati.
I do so hope that it's the beginning of the end.

(1,508 posts)I was thinking the same thing. They don't even try to hide it anymore. Sad commentary. I hope and pray it is the beginning of the end. If it isn't this country is in serious trouble.
They are going to televise his rally in Dayton on MSNBC coming up shortly.

(8,203 posts)his supporters who travel around with him..THEY bring hate and bigotry and the people are just saying, "TAKE YOUR HATE THE HELL OUT OF MY COUNTRY"
Let trump feel his own words!
I am so proud of the protesters - NIMBY is fitting....be careful - our history has too many stories of protesters getting hurt..Viet Nam WAR protests come to mind.....as was The South rising against hate and bigotry....
