beware of those looking to shore up the purge list....

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by treestar (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

i am sure this will be locked as meta, although, if we can see thread after thread by posters (some might call them trolls), posting bait threads asking bernie supporters if, under about a thousand freaking different circumstances, we would ever consider voting for hillary in the ge in order to get names for an upcoming purge list, i think it is equally fair to leave a thread warning people about it.

you are being baited. they are looking to clean out bernie supporters in the exceedingly unlikely event hillary becomes the nom.

don't fall for it.

Why would we want to be in such a group and my monthly donation will go with me also. The Hillary people are becoming increasingly intolerant- like Trump- every day.
They explode if anything less than extremely positive is said about Hillary despite her own admitted ongoing gaffes! Even mild comments gets one BANNED forever from the Hillary group!

On Fareed Zakaria this morning there was a social scientist who wrote a book predicting this behavior. These Trump and Hillary people are extremely authoritarian and if you do not believe as they do, you will be banned and "get what you deserve"! The author predicted that this will only get worse, much much worse. We see it here every day!

Reminds me of a phrase from the Broadway hit, "Alexander Hamilton." At one point the following advice was given to our youngest Founding Father. He was told: "Talk less, smile more; Never let them know what you're against or what you're for." Resonates even today!

Bernie supporters seem convinced he will be the nominee, so if there are any Hillary supporters who have made posts that they would never vote for Bernie, should they be purged ? Is someone making a list of Hillary supporters?
I'm all for letting it rip during the primary but once we get a nominee, purge the people who don't support the nominee in the GE, no matter who it is. This is a democratic site. Personally, I'm not going to hold it against anyone for prior posts supporting their candidate but it's a new day when we get our nominee, purge the non supporters then.

discussions should continue no matter what happens in the primaries. i am sure that non supporters of the nominee will either leave or just not discuss anything related to the pres race if it reflects negatively on the nom.

i just hope the admins are going to stick with the tos and not pay much attention to things being said now about something happening later.

and yes, it applies to all candidates supporters imo
