And others always under-estimated him. Other GMs said he played weak moves and such. One IM said his play was like clear water, with a drop of poison. Also, Lasker was a fighter. Capablanca was satisfied with draws. Lasker was unfathomable, always ahead of his time, especially when others thought he was worn-out.
