Turn out in Cook County - a personal look

Early voting in Cook County, Illinois (Chicago) exceeded 114,000 votes. To give you an idea what that means, the next highest early voting turnout ever was 2008, with 89,000 early votes.

I drove past three voting areas, including my own. There were lines waiting to get in at my location. (I voted early) The parking lot at the local courthouse was packed, far more than usual. And there clearly is something in the air. I believe that this election will set records.

Remember, the more people that vote, the better than Bernie does.

Oops, I checked the wrong site.
Already, in Chicago alone, 129,000 early votes, 37% more than any other year.

51,000 in western suburbs. That is HUGE!

While I did see Kirk signs dotting the lawns out here, only one hand made Cruz sign (it was pretty pathetic), NO signs for Trump, and none for Hillary.

Despite the fool court press by the Trumpenstein and his drones, most Chicagoans realize what really happened on Friday. It was caused by Trumpettes because they realized that they were outnumbered by anti-trumpists. While a few folks may have screamed and punched back, the more reliable accounts prove it was the Capo Don's folks causing the trouble.

Sounds good for Bernie but I hope that this is not Raum's Chicago style dirty tricks.

They combine both paper and plastic.
The touch screen is large, easy to read, hard to press the wrong thing. At the end of the voting, you see an electronic screen of your votes, and you can double check. THEN, the paper record is printed in a secure, behind protective glass, component. THEN, if the paper tracks your vote accurately, you press vote, and the vote is registered. Far better than Diaboldical machinery, and far, far better than the old lever voting where the operator could access and change the counts from the back of the machine.

The dead voting did happen in the 60s, but not for a long time in Cook County.

The past couple of days, and throughout Chicago.
Not one sticker, not one sign.

A friend of mine is AA, and stated that the word was being spread through her community about Rahm's mutual admiration society with Hillary. To misquote Chevy Chase as Fletch, "They be pissed."

I don't live in IL, so not familiar with the primary ballot. My daughter voted in Chicago this morning, and is worried that she messed up because, while she voted for Bernie, she didn't vote for any of the delegates. Her vote for Bernie still counts, right?

Two different issues. While it w0uld have been nice for her to choice 9 of 10 delegates he has here, her vote for Bernie stands and counts.

And there are delegate votes, for individuals who head to a convention. Assuming that Bernie wins in Illinois, he would get his share of electoral votes, and I presume that his party would end up selecting his delegates. Most likely the delegates did receive a ton of other voters, so there is no need to worry.
