Todd Palin, the husband of Sarah Palin, was hospitalized after a serious snowmobile accident Sunday night, temporarily taking the former Alaska governor off the campaign trail for Donald Trump.

Sarah Palin, though, made a surprise appearance in Tampa, Fla., on behalf of Trump later Monday afternoon -- despite an initial statement from the Trump campaign saying she was returning to Alaska.

One story said he was snowmobiling with family members. Another reported he was found by passers-by. The accident apparently happened after dark - that makes for very tricky snow-mobiling.

"Two medics from Talkeetna Ambulance with the Matanuska-Susitna Borough transported a person with serious injuries to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. The accident involved a single snowmobile."

Another report said that he had been moved from the accident scene to where the ambulance picked him up. With all of his injuries, he's going to have a lot of pain and a long recovery. What are the odds Sarah is back on the campaign trail in a matter of days?

4. Reminds me of the story of how she was in Texas attending an energy

conference during her last pregnancy, and her water broke. Even though she knew she was carrying a special needs baby, and should have known from having 4 other kids that it was time to seek medical attention, she just went about her business and flew back to Alaska. She's an odd one.
