would not win the general election. And please don't talk about polls right now showing him doing so well in the GE. He hasn't been SMASHED TO PIECES by the right wing ONSLAUGHT of "SocialistCommunistTaxraiser" night and day yet.

Sorry, but Hillary is much more of a national candidate than Bernie.

Honestly, I don't think Sanders can win. But I also firmly belive that if he doesn't then we all better get used to saying the words President Donald Trump. Gods the thought makes sick.

...a week of yammering about the impact of 'trade' on the Hillary vote.

Looks like black voters showed up in force, making the impact that many of us touted since the beginning of the campaign. All of the denial and defensiveness from the Sanders camp, and the defiance that Northern states would be different, has basically dismissed this important group of voters to their campaign's peril.

more than a little of a self Indulgence for some. Every voter and voting group should be respected and counted, and certainly not counted out ahead of time. You cannot be for democracy if you despise the people and processes of democracy.

Michigan afterwards.

It seems a sizable number of Clinton supporters believed the 20 point polling margins in Michigan, and actually decided to vote Republican to mess with the GOP tally.

When they found out what happened, they were in shock.

It appears then the Clinton team told all their people to tell their supporters they have to vote for Clinton, no matter what the polls say for their state.

I've gotten to where I can't stand her, and I have defended her and admired her.

The Nancy Reagan comments, the death penalty comments, the defense of George W. Bush - and that's just the past week. Flawed candidate, and getting to seem to me to be just a sucky cynical person in general.

We had a real liberal progressive candidate and we may have thrown it away for the crappy patronizing Third Way centrist. I will defend her against the Republican nonsense if there is a Hillary Clinton administration, but won't be happy about it. Maybe she will surprise me. I doubt it. She sure as hell better beat the Republican in the general election.

Be happy all you want. It won't change the fact that this sucks.

I'm now guessing that the difference between the polls in Michigan and the vote tally may have been due to the fact Hillary supporters didn't bother to vote because the polls had her so far ahead - they thought their vote was superfluous.
