The longer Bernie drags this out the harder it will be to fight Trump.

I am sure Bernie sees what we all see. If he stays in for some ego reason he hurts all of us.

You all don't need Bernie to rise up and start a revolution.

Even if he was in the White House he faces the same Congress that Hillary would.

And with health care he would have to try and improve the ACA just as Hillary would. Single payer needs to start in the states. We have to over turn Citizens United by putting new Justices on the Supreme Court to do that.

Bernie and Hillary would nominate the same type of justices.

Everyone assumes that the actions of their rival candidate are malicious. Hillary didn't mean to backstab anyone (why, for gods sake would a presidential candidate do that on purpose?). She has been busy with the campaign, and on the way to the interview some aid gave her a few (incorrect) talking points that she repeated, then later apologized for. Because you already dislike her, you assume the worse, but come on people. We are all human. Mistakes are made, I am happy when people own up to them and apologize.

And on that topic...why would falsely crediting a dead women with something nice possibly be a 'backstab'. Everyone tries to say nice things when someone dies. It doesn't change history, or take away anyone's rights.

DOMA, DADT, "marriage is a sacred union between man and woman" and the rest of the vile bile.

If you don't understand how praising Nancy Reagan for "silent activism" is a backstab to the people she and her gay-hating husband wanted to let die, if you think that is just an "oops" moment, then let me refer you to this post

The hardest part was having my sister call me a "fucking bastard" for supporting Bernie. She's been, other than my wife, my best friend for my entire life. She's got a LOT invested in Hillary personally, and I in Bernie. At least I had.

But it's over now. I really worry about our country and the world, and I honestly thought it might be our chance to re-claim our system of government from the ultra-wealthy. But again, Bernie lost, and resoundingly so. I'm not going anywhere in terms of doing myself in, and thanks for giving a damn. I hope Hillary does well. I will be voting for her.

have a purpose in life--your family. And yes, you need them and they need you. So keep yourself grounded. And thanks for the conversation

In my younger days I probably would believe in a revolution. Sanders is appealing in many respects but I also think given the make up of our government, it will not happen.

I need to get some sleep eye.

Because he's the only liberal in the race. Hillary prefers the term 'progressive', which she has co-opted to mean as far left as I have to pretend to be until the GE.

It's just a "talking point" to get Sanders supporters to lose heart.

Clinton supporters are showing contempt for half the voters in the country, who haven't voted yet. That includes me.

So just shut up about "the math." Your talking about MY VOTE. I understand "the math" perfectly well and Sanders can still win the nomination. That is very clear FROM "THE MATH."

And besides all that, you really don't understand the Bernie Sanders campaign. It has never been just a "horse race." It is about NEW IDEAS, or, rather, some new, and some old that go back as far as Harry Truman who wanted Medicare for all, and the public university system in California and other places, which was FREE TUITION in the '60s and ''70s until the Reagan junta. So now, guess what? Hillary Clinton and her supporters are supporting REAGAN policies.

And you wonder why we won't quit.

Nor can they list any meaningful accomplishments. It's like Santorum stuttering when asked why he supported Rubio. I heard a Clinton surrogate tonight on the Benjamin Dixon Show try and answer the 'name one Hillary accomplishment' with the children's chip program. Haha. Very funny. Throwing crumbs to children after you pushed welfare reform, which has been empirically determined to have increased poverty among women and children is insulting and a cynical betrayal of liberal values. Oh yes, Hillary just squirmed away from the label of liberal with Chris Matthews the other night.
