2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI keep seeing these 'daily news bin' stories so I did a little looking...
Apparently it's not a real news site, more like a pro-Hillary blog.

Sad, really.

(4,176 posts)about god damn emails which is a story the GOP created.
People are so gullible, cant wait to see what President Trump does about emails and the internet, remember, he said this
http://www.cnet.com/news/donald-trump-wants-to-shut-down-the-internet/
If Donald trump or cruz end up being president, I am going to come here daily and ask over and over again those who posted nonstop attacks of Hillary using GOP created stories, for their feelings about the situation we are then in.

I will be the one who voted for Bernie, then in the GE Hillary if Bernie lost because I am not a selfish person.

(4,176 posts)This election season is simple, my friend, either you are going to vote in such a way to oppose open and clear fascism, or we/you are not.
I would hope it is that simple for everyone to see.

(15,645 posts)I think you'll hear what you've already heard. If Hillary loses, she and her camp will own it.
You seem to think that there is something ethically and morally wrong with people drawing attention to concerns they have about Hillary here at DU. I reject that.
Sure there are some bogus stories and accusations, but there are plenty of those aimed at Bernie as well. It goes with the turf.

But, one thing they aren't doing is refusing to vote.

(3,660 posts)Her super-PAC bought Blue Nation Review to use as a propaganda outfit. Same for the site you listed I'm assuming. The goal is just to pepper out pro-Hillary crap, and have it picked up and recycled like you demonstrated.
Pure propaganda, no better than Joseph Goebbels using news media, cinema, etc... Here its just David Brock and Peter Daou acting in the place of Joseph Goebbels.
leftofcool
(19,460 posts)I guess when your own candidate doesn't inspire you have to resort to bashing the Democrat.
revbones
(3,660 posts)No. But I will compare lying propagandists like David Brock and his ilk like Peter Daou to Joseph Goebbels. The comparison is easy and obvious.
Correct the Record purchased Blue Nation Review. It now is an unapologetic and overt propaganda site for Hillary. This is similar to Joseph Goebbels controlling the press for propaganda is it not?

There's just nothing there that keeps America from loving him as much as our grandparents loved FDR.
Bernie has no FBI investigation on his tail.

(15,645 posts)I asked a very simple question. You said "and yet voters are not flocking to" Bernie. My question implied that "low information" voters could be the difference. I genuinely wonder about that. It strikes me that Hillary voters are in large part less concerned about her record when it comes to economic policy (neoliberals/Third Wayer Dems) or they just don't know about her economic record, or there are other social issues that capture their support for her. ... In this light, I wonder, and I think legitimately, whether "low information" Dems make up the difference. There are plenty of low information voters to go around -- in both parties and across attribute groups.
Is that clear enough for you? Instead of jumping to faulty conclusions, try doing as you suggested to me -- think before you insult with accusations of racism.
hrmjustin
(71,265 posts)You can hide behind the question mark but we both know you meant we are idiots.
KPN
(15,645 posts)low information voters -- says nothing about intelligence. There are plenty of bright people who don't pay a lot of attention to politics. From a voting standpoint, you could say they aren't aware of facts -- from that standpoint ignorant of facts (notice I did not say they are ignorant. But I appreciate you dropping the accusation of racism. You've come a long way.

(80,708 posts)But in that vein, I hope that Hillary Clinton- who, I suspect, will be our nominee- gives people something to vote FOR beyond "im not donald trump" (and, to be sure, first Female POTUS)... I think an affirmative positive expression of who we are as Democrats, what we as a party stand for (as in concrete policy, not just meaningless poll tested aphorisms) and where we would like to go in this century would help with Millennials, who she is not reaching very well currently.

(1,901 posts)consist entirely of pro-Bernie pieces and anti-Hillary pieces, it truly is sad that THOSE sites are treated with credulousness.
Salon, The Intercept, "Consortium News", and quite a few others are quite literally all Anti-Hillary all the time, yet no one questions them. There are even RW sites and Russian propaganda that's swallowed whole with not a single person bothering to question them, even when the authors are the same and have a 100% anti-Clinton stance, they're treated as if they were "real" journalists and not highly partisan folks not doing much to pretend that they're practicing journalism.
It is sad, really.

(11,366 posts)That figure came from the rubbish site we're discussing in this thread.
The real figure is somewhere between 63 and 67 percent, which sounds great until you consider that's only Democrats. When you start pulling in Independents, that number drops significantly. Many simply don't like her or trust her.
