Is CNN and MSNBC Working For The Clinton Campaign?

If you don't think so, you probably don't have a television.

The unfairness of the press makes me sick.

What the hell can we do?

The brainwashing apparatus is working as it is supposed to.

The country, and the planet may have to deal with a Clinton/Trump presidency.

Hopefully we survive.....

Boeing is their biggest and Boeing will keep them on the air because MSNBC is corporate and they stick together. Why do you think you see so many ads for products that required prescriptions or have to do with military? Corporate pockets maintain a limited conversation on topics corporations don't want talked about much such as limiting the war machine or healthcare or even net neutralioty which benefits Comcast. You don't hear debates about a lot of things as long as big money controls the media and they do that by buying advertising.

I can't watch that garbage any more.

It's not journalism. It's effectively paid advertising to look like journalism.

What I mean by "paid" is "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" favors - not money directly exchanging - maybe a bunch of ads are bought

When they try to take control of the internet - and you can be sure they'll try in a Trojan Horse kind of way - we're in real trouble in terms of remaining a free society.

This Democratic primary is not determining the will of the people - it's executing the will of the 1% through the 90% of the US media they control.

Olbermann was still on the air, Edwards and Kucinich were both running. Who did Keith have on three times that week, it was Edwards, he voted the wrong way and gave three speeches just before the IWR on why we needed to invade NOW.

Did he ever have Kucinich on that week or the weeks after, no never nada.

So back in 2007 it was clear to me that MSNBC, the supposedly 'liberal' channel was bought by the establishment.

that if they don't shape up with balanced, objective reporting, WE WILL DO TO THEM WHAT WE DID TO HATE RADIO! Hate radio is now $20 BILLION in the red thanks to threats of boycotts against their sponsors. Lets do the same to MSM "news". Here is a link to a list of mail, email and phone numbers of the major outlets:

http://www.nytix.com/Links/TV/articles/newsmediacontacts.html

Feedback for NPR, the 24 hour Trump station that occasionally mentions the "presumed Dem nominee", but never Bernie: http://info.ds.npr.org/contact.html

Other than voting, donating to Bernie, and talking to people you know about Bernie's policy positions and history, THE SINGLE GREATEST THING you can do to help his campaign is to WRITE A HARD COPY LETTER to the media protesting their Bernie Blackout and wall to wall Trump coverage! Mention that you will be contacting and boycotting their advertisers if they continue the Bernie blackout and Trump "infomercials". I know people who work in newsrooms, and I am told that one hard copy letter has the weight of 100 emails to a news director. This is, they have added, a huge reason why the media skews to the Right; right wingers mail in letters frequently, the Left never does, so the perception is that only the right wing is dissatisfied with their "reporting". Let us change that notion TODAY!

Please borrow time from posting here and on Facebook TODAY to write letters to FIVE of the organizations listed below. When finished, post the text of your letter and who you contacted to this thread.

Mon Mar 21, 2016, 03:28 AM
Mar 2016

Soon we won't be as inclined to see MSM coverage as the goal rather than an addiction.

The Sanders campaign has been built without significant or helpful TV coverage -- perhaps then, it is not hostage to TV coverage? And if it is not then neither are we.

Young voters now watch about 60% less TV than their elders and it is falling. The fastest falloff is among 18-24YO who went from 27 weekly hrs of TV to just 19 hours. A 30% reduction in just 4 years.

http://www.marketingcharts.com/television/are-young-people-watching-less-tv-24817/

As the shift to social media continues, CW will be increasingly less influenced by corporate cable news.

Anyone excited about being informed by the National Travesty is seriously delusional. Dump the box and try living some other way than glued to a screen for a while. I can tell you from my point of view, as an HRC supporter, that I've seen TONS of attention to his crowd sizes, even when it is now clear that crowd sizes don;t necessarily translate into election results.

Fresh off the regulatory defeat of the $45 billion merger between Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) and Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC), Comcast regulatory affairs chief David L. Cohen is set to host a $2,700-a-plate fundraiser for 2016 Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The event will take place on June 26 at the home of Cohen and his wife, Rhonda. Those who donate $50,000 or more will have access to a private reception with the candidate.

Cohen's involvement in the political system includes a term as chief of staff for Ed Rendell, the former governor of Pennsylvania.

The fundraising event comes after progressive consumer groups proved instrumental in torpedoing the Comcast-TWC deal, one spearheaded by Cohen himself on the regulatory end.

Surprised there's not been one question by the media to Clinton if she'd be more welcoming to such mergers in the future.
