Hate me now... if Hillary gets elected, we get shellacked in 2018

Now, I think CHillary will beat Trump or whoever the GOP trots out in a general election. The demographics are just too favorable for us in a general election.

But turnout is going to be low (especially amongst the young) and it's going to be at record lows in 2018. We will get beat again.

On the other hand, if Bernie is elected in 2016, we may not get shellacked. He might be able to get enough young people out to vote to beat the reps in 2018. He will at least limit the damage a lot more than Hillary will.

We will just live with Republican congresses until the end of the US. We had that long stretch of Democratic Congresses, but who cares.

However, nothing has ever been done with it. My guess is that those voted in power didn't want to change the formula for personal reasons. They wanted to stay in power.

Out of all the possible reasons I've seen as to why it should be Bernie, even tho he's losing and the youth vote
hasn't really turned out as much as it seems like they would, this one is the longest reach almost bordering on silly.
