if Bernie doesnt get the nomination.

But will the country still be around if the GOP is allowed to destroy it?

Probably not.

One of my fondest wishes is that, whether or not Bernie wins the nomination, people who have been inspired to take action by Bernie's campaign, will be inspired to continue the fight for what he stands for after the campaign is over.

Even if he's elected, he can't get the things we want done, done, without a lot of help from "out here."

I can proudly tell my grandchildren that their mother and father and their grandmother and grandfather fought to bring this about in this election (also their aunts and uncles).

You may find other future candidates promoting what Bernie is - a near certainty this will occur with Bernie's success - but for that candidate to also have Bernie's integrity - may have to wait another 3-4 generations.

politicians don't want him to get elected. THIS IS THE SADDEST TRUTH of all. Amazing isn't it? I doubt our Congress Critters ever give this much thought anymore.

However, as long as they can keep lying and pulling the wool over people's eyes, WHY WOULD THEY HAVE TO CARE???

Obviously we can clearly see that here because no matter how many issues that Hillary has flip-flopped on it doesn't matter!! Those of us who've seen "her act" before KNOW what to expect and I can only ask "When Will They Ever Learn??"

and at some point it begins to feed from within itself. This is not an outlier. This is fundamental change in people really beginning to get how rigged things are and how sold out almost all politicians are.

It's not a left-right/Democrat-Republican/liberal-conservative dyad. It's, as the OP says, restoring power to its rightful owners.

I predict that Bernie will stay the course...President or not as he did not spend decades dreaming of the Prize. He has already created space and energy for that new power being discovered...youth, disenfranchised voters, Hold-the-nose voters, minorities. He's a real leader with a real purpose, IMO, and will continue where the path leads.

What Bernie is speaking to is not revolutionary, or should not be. He's simply suggesting we go back to how things used to be.

In fact, we have all been part of a revolution for at least 35 years- a revolution against normal people.

when the leading candidate for President of the United States uttered the words
"No more wars!" before God and country.

that moment should be recognized and appreciated for what it is. a bold declaration that
we are going to turn the corner towards truth and justice, after more than 50 years.

a little birdie said so.
