(154,021 posts)I follow them as a tool to keep people honest, if you know what I mean. But this is not official.
NWCorona
(8,541 posts)It seems like there's a pattern with them holding results of some states.
Washington ran so smooth and results came very quickly. Same with Alaska.
nadinbrzezinski
(154,021 posts)I got the feeling the machine in the state wanted to teach her a lesson and Sanders as well. For some odd reason, a little bird (pun intended) is not letting them. People have self reported to the twitter. and other places. So it is the what the hell do we do now?
NWCorona
(8,541 posts)I think the best thing people can do is stick around and share their district totals.

(8,541 posts)I like watching Hillary and Bernie go back and forth when it's close. While giving their talking points.
I didn't see the Hillary icon once tonight tho.
pacalo
(24,857 posts)so I've yet to see one for Hillary. This was a good day for Bernie; Hawaii's results were still at 0-0 the last time I looked, so stay tuned.

(74,199 posts)voting began at 1pm with people hanging out at their precinct table. the precinct roll was called and people who responded with ID got a ballot and voted. Voting was open until 1:30 officially but nobody was denied a ballot as long as people were still there waiting to vote. Late arrivals could checkin with there precinct table to get a ballot. when there was nobody responding to the precinct table voting was closed. It was not open voting until you feel like showing up. Disorganized, yes some, deliberate attempt to cheat poor bernie out of his votes..no

(8,541 posts)I'm in Washington and it has my precinct listed correctly so that is very good!

(14,923 posts)According to the 2010 United States Census, Hawaii had a population of 1,360,301. The state's population identified as
38.6% Asian
24.7% White (22.7% Non-Hispanic White Alone)
23.6% from two or more races
10.0% Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders
8.9% Hispanics and Latinos of any race
1.6% Black or African American
1.2% from some other race
and 0.3% Native American and Alaska Native.
Hawaii has the highest percentage of Asian Americans and multiracial Americans and the lowest percentage of White Americans of any state. It is the only state where Asian Americans identify as the largest ethnic group. In 2011, 14.5% of births were to white, non-Hispanic parents. Hawaii's Asian population consists mainly of 198,000 (14.6%) Filipino Americans, 185,000 (13.6%) Japanese Americans, roughly 55,000 (4.0%) Chinese Americans, and 24,000 (1.8%) Korean Americans.[citation needed] There are over 80,000 Indigenous Hawaiians5.9% of the population. Including those with partial ancestry, Samoan Americans comprise 2.8% of Hawaii's population, and Tongan Americans comprise 0.6%.

The one I'm really looking forward to is New York. Hillary has a huge lead, if the polling is accurate, but it would be great if Sanders could pull off another surprise there-- even if it's just narrowing the gap.
