(1,377 posts)Just look at the black vote in the south. Media and Hillary camp lied about Sanders Civil Rights actions, the BLM in Seattle and how he was supposedly rude to them, which turns out it was Hillary not Sanders who BLM got rude treatment from. It all worked in SC to give her so many votes. And it even continues today how people say he just does not care about blacks.

(23,730 posts)Senator Sanders gave a warmer welcoming to the bird who flew onto his podium.
Bernie Sanders distinguished himself as quite the cad Saturday night, during a victory celebration in Madison, Wisconsin.
Senator Sanders was taking a well deserved bow in front of an overflow crowd which was cheering his victories in Alaska and Washington State, during which he acknowledged his wife Jane. Jane stepped forward, basking for a moment in her husband's and the crowd's appreciation, only to have him shoo her away.
The Senator can be heard telling poor Jane "don't stand next to me," accompanied by a gentle swing of his arm to keep her behind him. And to think she flew all the way to Alaska to campaign for him.
Have a look, and as you do, try imagining Hillary Clinton rebuffing Bill, or President Obama directing Michelle, "don't stand next to me."

(45,319 posts)Of course not because they are without ethics. Most dishonest and vile campaign I have ever seen in my life. It's been one long and relentless smearing of Bernie and of Jane, the kitchen sink, the bidet, the tub, they are throwing it all because they are driven by ideology and bigotry.
That was a really stupid story, glad they pulled it.

(23,272 posts)My husband is abrupt too when he thinks I'm in trouble, when he gets emotional, when he's got a lot on his mind etc.
As someone pointed out whose worked in event planning, Jane was close to the big bundle of taped down mic and sound equipment cords. She even does look down in the video.
I see mild alarm/concern for her.

(17,984 posts)into this hostile streak. My husband had a physical reaction when Bernie keep pointing angrily at Hillary during one debate in particular. He was pissed at the physical intimidation with his arms and interrupting her. I'm sure the mocking will start as usual, but people noticed this in the debates as well. This video speaks for itself. This is fair game to report.

It's my theory that she used that taxpayer money to make State seem more popular, for the specific purpose of later campaigning on that popularity.

(6,007 posts)When that BS started popping up yesterday, I didn't even go look. I knew it was wrong and would be debunked. People are who they are. If you have watched the way Bernie has conducted himself not only on this campaign but throughout his entire career, you SHOULD have known that this story didn't match up.
It is unfortunate that people on the other side are so anxious to smear him that they ran with it without thinking. Like sharks smelling blood. And these same people seem incapable of LOOKING IN THE MIRROR for a little self reflection.
Already today there seem to be a number of OPs about those "Bernie supporters". There is a lot of that meme of "Bernie supporters" and how bad they are.
LOOK IN THE MIRROR, Hillary bots, you seem to have no shame.

(2,872 posts)The entire campaign is exposed to be nudists; the oligarchs have no clothes. That they'd stoop to Tea Partier tactics to try and smear Sanders tells me that no, the Democratic Party does not deserve my loyalty, and does not deserve any kind of praises from this Independent. This entire debacle, between the original posting of the article and David Brock seizing onto it like a hunk of flyblown meat tossed to a mangy mongrel has left me with four words: "Fuck the Clinton campaign."
