My take-away from that visit? This man has no place on the national stage, or on a grade school stage, for one of two reasons. He either has no more grasp of reality than a grapefruit (no offence), or he is perfectly willing to be bought and sold to a degree that reveals a total lack of character.
The group, the American Conservative Union, boasts of being one of the oldest conservative organizations in the country. It champions a mission statement that asserts ......... the forces of international Communism are, at present, the greatest single threat to these liberties. (Either the statement of principles hasnt been updated, or next weeks foreign policy debate is going to be considerably more exciting than anticipated.)
Romneys appearance on The View had been widely anticipated since he admitted at a private fundraiser that he was nervous about sitting down with the non-conservative and sharp-tongued women. This comment, along with the now infamous 47 percent comment, was recorded in a secret video leaked by Mother Jones.

Bad Thoughts
(2,522 posts)If communism is a FP threat abroad, it's a FP threat at home. That way he can associate Obama with communism or being soft on communism domestically.

(14,691 posts)Obama's president, isn't he? (VERY HEAVY SARCASM) This must be another Tea Party bunch o' kooks. But seriously, folks, the FP debate will be GOOD if Romney goes on about Communism. If so, I hope Obama runs ads showing the Berlin Wall being destroyed.

(5,792 posts)if Romney will call Obama a communist during the debate. As Ann and son have said he is crazy and has possible mental conditon.

(19,581 posts)I have seen a lot of RW posters starting to talk about communism instead of him being Muslim.
