Hillary supporters have been talking about Susan Sarandon all day on the internet

That's because their candidate is horrible on a lot of major issues, so they can't talk about anything serious. Talking about any serious issue facing our country is horrible for them. So they dwell on these micro-drama political gaffes and blow them up into a major topic.

Check around the interwebs. Susan Sarandon is a huge story to nobody but Clintonites. I wonder how long it will be before they realize voters couldn't care less if she votes for Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, or writes in Fidel Castro for President.

I think she probably misspoke and just failed at trying to be too cute or witty. Asked if she would support Clinton, she didn't want to accept the terms of the question, so she tried to come up with a clever evasive answer. Obviously that didn't work out.

Step 1: Distort something someone said
Step 2: Feign outrage
Step 3: Call for that person's group to disavow them.

Really sad to see Democrats using these tactics, but I'm betting they would hypocritically yell and scream if it was done to their candidate.

After this past weekend it was to be expected. And when have they ever wanted to discuss issues?

As for Susan it's her vote, she never said she would vote for Trump and I doubt she ever would. I think the hatred they've expressed towards her is disturbing, the attacks on her were unhinged and way too vicious. I think they were furious and spiteful over their loss on Saturday and took all of their frustrations out on her.

Good opportunity to alert and ban when someone wanting to correct the misconception posts in a protected group.

Because Susan did not say she would vote for Trump or that anyone should. Just that some might. If we are good we would take heed and reach those misguided few.

Instead, we have poutrage for the sake of having poutrage with no suggested action to take.

Old, tired right wing bullshit from people who are far too willing to distort, contort and characterize when what was actually said does not serve their agenda. 'Al Gore said he invented the internet, he says he's a perfect environmentalist but he has a big rich man's house!!!!'

It's so stupid. And of course when Hillary lavished the Reagans with praise on AIDS when she should have been condemning them on AIDS, her supporters thought that was fine and dandy stuff to say. 'She's just being nice at a funeral'.
It's disgusting McCarthyist bullshit.

represents Sanders and all his supporters. The Clinton campaign was creating a mountain out of a molehill.

Plus it misrepresented what she was actually saying...She was not saying "It would be a good thing if Trump won...etc."

She's an actress who was responding to a question about how some people feel....And the closest she came to saying anything about how she will vote, she said "I'll have to wait and see what happens" (slightly paraphrased).

People in Clinton's corner say shit all the time, People only tend to "lose collectuve shit" when it is either a direct and misleading attack on Sanders and supporters, or is someone who is in a position of clout who says something that reflects policy and/or influence.

That's the kind of idiotic thinking that gave us 8 years of Bush. Then again, didn't she support Nader in 2000?

“I think Bernie would probably encourage people, because he doesn’t have any ego in this thing,” Sarandon told him. “But I think a lot of people are, ‘Sorry, I just can’t bring myself to .’”

“How about you personally?” Hayes asked.
“I don’t know. I’m going to see what happens,” Sarandon said.

That bit of honesty prompted Hayes to stop in his tracks. “Really?” he asked incredulously.

“Really,” Sarandon said, adding that “some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately if he gets in, things will really explode.” Asked if she thinks that’s “dangerous,” she replied, “It’s dangerous to think that we can continue the way we are with the militarized police force, with privatized prisons, with the death penalty, with the low minimum wage, threats to women’s rights and think you can’t do something huge to turn that around.”
