Attorney general won’t investigate worker arrested for dumping voter registrations

http://wtvr.com/2012/10/20/attorney-general-wont-investigate-worker-arrested-for-dumping-voter-registrations/

The State Board Of Elections says it will not ask Virginia’s Attorney General to investigate the case of a Republican Party contract worker, accused of throwing voter registration forms in the trash.

State Senator Donald McEachin, who is chair of the Senate Democratic Caucus, asked the attorney general to investigate following the arrest of after Colin Small.

Small was a contractor hired by the Republican Party of Virginia to conduct voter registration drives.

He was charged after investigators say as many as nine applications he collected were found in a trash bin behind a Harrisonburg store.

The attorney general says he only looks into election issues after a request from the State Board of Elections.

“There’s no way to tell by party when people fill out these forms, what party they’re affiliated with, so I don’t think there’s any political motivation,” Virginia Registrar Brandi Lilly said Friday.

You've got the forms. Contact the people and ask whether the person who registered them asked about party affiliation or about candidates for which they intended to vote.

If a statistically significant number were asked and turn out to support a particular party/candidate, you've got evidence.

I'm fairly sure it's politically motivated, but that is beside the point.

THE POINT IS - THIS AS**OLE is MESSING WITH OUR ELECTION.

ELECTION FRAUD NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY BY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL or the ATTORNEY GENERAL NEEDS TO BE GONE! Disbarred, demoted, promoted to the dumpster himself.

The dots connect to Rove, therefore it is certain but a fraction of the "voter fraud" the GOP is conducting has been exposed; likely it is going on on many levels. They think people are stupid and fall for their calling their opponents out for the very things they do. When you hear the cries "Voter Fraud" from the GOP, be assured they are actively involved in just that. It's their Method Of Operating to attack the other guy in attempt to deflect their operations. It's their "righteous right" philosophy, taught at Regent University, infiltrated into public office that allows them as "Christians" to break the law. They are on a fanatical mission, just as Romney is with his beliefs - all deluded human beings if you ask me.

How else are you supposed to REGISTER AS A DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN??????

I guarantee you Ms. Lilly is a Republican and that the forms were for people registering as Democrats. She's a liar.

and which party primary you vote in shows in the public records. (I know this because I have gone over such records for Democratic Party voter contact drives.) But we don't register by party.

Our AG is a true extremist, a fanatic for the cause. It would be nice if he could simply be the lawyer for the people of Virginia, but he has priorities which are much more important.

isn't throwing away voter registration forms a CRIMINAL ACT -- and a federal one, at that?

And the DA be a Republican, by any chance?

Next stop, DOJ -- I think the VA DA is the one who needs to be investigated.

And isn't the Secretary of State the A*hole who is messing with early voting? (Never mind. That's Ohio. So much GOP crap so little time to keep it straight.)

what then? They will be treated by GOP as evidence of people trying to vote illegally necessitating further voter suppression.
