1. NY has a confusing primary schedule.

We have the presidential in april, the Congressional in June, and the state primaries in September.

The mailers default ptimary date is always the state primary.

The SecState website refers to the Pres Primary as 'presidential preference election' while the "primary" in September is for local offices in Az.

New voters have to dig hard to find out the the election they want is the PPE, is not open, and was in March.
