and thus he wins.
He doesn't have the corporate media providing millions and millions of dollars of free advertising like Trump and Clinton. The corp media has also run attacks against Bernie free of charge.
I am sick of your b.s. lies. He buys a state, he will steal a state. You people are thoroughly disgusting. But then again, corporate whores will do anything for a paycheck.
Clinton has big money super pacs so spare me the Clinton is being outspent b.s.
Update: As pointed out by BernieforPres2016:
Hilarious spin by Chucky. Hillary is stuffing her pockets with SuperPac money
But Bernie bought a New Hampshire landslide with advertising.
If you can buy landslides, can Chucky explain why Jeb Bush spent far more money than anybody in this cycle and never got to 10% in the Republican polls?

(250 posts)They provide free advertisements for Clinton and Trump. Of course Bernie has to spend our money to get his message out. That's why we keep contributing to his campaign. I like to think of it as a big middle finger to the media and the party leaders.

(12,685 posts)100% consensus: It is manipulative propaganda.
And who the heck are they polling? I have met lots of non Clinton supporters that are supposed to be part of her base but are not.

(14,765 posts)It does not mean he is better than anyone else. Trump using his own money... We know he is not better.

(65,134 posts)corporate media conglomerates know that as well and this gets in their craw.
Trump is a billionaire and for the vast majority of this campaign season, he didn't even need to spend ad money, the corporate media conglomerates kept his name front and center from even before day 1, giving him between 1-2 billion dollars in free advertising while they largely blacked out for most of last year the only true anti-establishment candidate; Bernie Sanders.
The corporate media conglomerates created Trump; he's their monster, while having done everything in their power to ignore, demean, discount, write off or obfuscate Bernie and his message.
The corporate media conglomerates have ignored the critical issues of the day facing the American People in their political coverage for the sake of focusing on dividing them along whatever demographic they could come up with that in their perception would most benefit Hillary.
They have pulled out all propaganda stops in trying to coronate her as the Democratic Nominee, while being all too eager to dismiss the democratic process.

(62,444 posts)Are you suggesting money is equivalent to speech?
Dragonfli
(10,622 posts)Politicians running ads they approve within the add fall in such a category.
Other more unscrupulous campaigns feel that unlimited sums raised by billionaires and corporations are free speech, Sanders and his supporters do not fall into this category and actively deny PAC "fake speech, AKA unlimited corporate and billionaire purchased speech".
However, Republicans and Hillary Clinton do think that unlimited PAC money = speech, so you should re-aim that bullshit gun towards those that actively encourage and take such bribes, now deemed speech by a corrupt SCOTUS.
Bernie does not take and thus encourage such bribery that such unlimited and shady PACS believe are equal to "speech"

(11,014 posts)When was the last time a "revolution" needed TV ads? Did Lenin place ads? Did Ayatollah Khomeini place ads? Were there announcements and encouragement for Bastille day?
It is a bought and paid for revolution of the free stuff.

(9,685 posts)A good part of his advertising expenses goes to paid activists who take over the process in caucus states.

(10,622 posts)Your red-baiting aside, we both know that a closer analogy to this political revolution is the one FDR fought against the Gilded and corrupt establishment of his time.
This Lennon shit is McCarthyism at it's best, feel free to fear the Red Menace that hides under your bed. A Monsters you envision like a six year old and just as imaginary and harmless as a threat to anyone.

(250 posts)You reference people in different times in history. Today, TV is a huge part of a majority of people's lives and is where they get all of their "news" and information. Unfortunately, if someone is not on TV, a majority of people don't know anything about them. Corporate owned pundits tell people how to think and the networks block anything other than what they want you to know.
He has to not only compete against an opponent, but must fight against corporate owned media and a party that wants nothing more then to keep their gravel train rolling.

(2,064 posts)I have no preference.
Both Clinton and Sanders are experienced politicians who know their way around DC.
Both are OK in my book.
