Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Sunday blasted President Barack Obama's administration for agreeing to discussions with Iran about the county's nuclear program because 'the time for talking is over."
The New York Times reported on Sunday that Obama administration officials had said the White House had agreed in principle to one-on-one meetings with Iran, a result of efforts to pressure Tehran that began soon after Obama took office.
"The Iranians are trying to take advantage of our election cycle to continue to talk," Graham told Fox News host Chris Wallace on Sunday. "As we talk with the Iranians, whether it's bilaterally or unilaterally, the vice president and the president have said, 'We will do nothing without coordinating with Israel.' So, we've talked with them in Moscow, we've talked with them in Baghdad, they continue to enrich."
"I think think the time for talking is over," he continued. "We should be demanding transparency and access to their nuclear program. They've doubled their centrifuges so I think this is a ploy by the Iranians. I hope we are talking to the Israelis."

You want war so badly? Well, by all means, get out there and put your money where your mouth is. No sending somebody else to go fight the war YOU want so badly. YOU go do it. I'm sure you'll have plenty of followers. And take all your little teabagger friends with you while you're at it, okay? Pretty please?

"I'm sick to the ears of old men starting wars for young men to die in."
Who wouldn't be moved by that. Shouldn't the OLD MEN aka leaders at least try and negotiate before more people have to die. Because it's not just young men and women it's many innocents.

What is with the GOP that they always want to try and take out their ***** and prove its larger than anyone elses?
I HOPE Romney comes into tonights debate with the "Lets go to war" strategy...it'll backfire badly as most of America does not want war right now.

I say, kneecap the GOPPER's and their warmongering in both economic arguments (a war economy is good only for war profiteers),
and moral/ religious arguments (war is OBVIOUSLY wrong! And yes I know that war seems necessary in the nature of mankind).
The President is more restrained in what he can say than I, saying to
Americans, regardless of party and philosophy,
For those who are not racist, prove it by voting for the black man,
For those who are Christian, prove it by voting against the Mormon heretic,
For those who are Democrats, prove it by voting,
For those who are Republicans, prove it by staying home and letting others represent you,

(2,480 posts)Prior to his service in the House, Graham compiled a distinguished record in the United States Air Force as he logged six-and-a-half years of service on active duty as an Air Force lawyer. From 1984-1988, he was assigned overseas and served at Rhein-Main Air Force Base in Germany.
Upon leaving active duty Air Force in 1989, Graham joined the South Carolina Air National Guard where he served until 1995. During the first Gulf War in the early 90s, Graham was called to active duty and served state-side at McEntire Air National Guard Base as Staff Judge Advocate where he prepared members for deployment to the Gulf region.
Graham continues to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and is one of only three U.S. Senators currently serving in the Guard or Reserves. He is a colonel and is assigned as a Senior Instructor at the Air Force JAG School.
