Has anyone noticed in their area that some politicians are not declaring their party affiliations?

The last few days I have started receiving fliers from various candidates. A lot of the Republican candidates are not listing their party on the fliers. I live north of Kansas City Mo and I was wondering if there are any other folks who post on this board that are from Missouri and have noticed the same thing.

2. Signs for local elections around here

definitely leave it off. It's annoying and confusing. I'm going to vote for the Ds anyway. Though my state representative district has no D even running!

3. Lots of them, I live near WV and the worst thing you can do

over there is be seen next to President Obama. In Ohio our Democratic Rep was voted out in the Teabagger election in 2010, the former Congressman has every Democratic campaign sign in his lawn except Obama/Biden.

4. I've noticed that it seems to be an increasing trend for candidates of both parties

particularly in a purple state like Virginia.

5. In MA you can always tell a GOPer

Whenever you see a bumper sticker or yard sign without party affiliation you know it's a GOPer.

6. In PA they all just cross-file. You have to know who is who and NEVER check off "straight party".

9. Republicans in WA turned our King County elections into "nonpartisan" races.

Because they knew no one would vote for GOP.

Republicans pretend to be Democrats (Joe Manchin). Democrats openly hate on national Dems here.
Just run of the mill stuff in the Mountain State.

11. My city council runs as nonpartisan, but the coroners run as Dem or Repub. :-\ nt
