Bernie Sanders Looks forward to New York DEBATE

PRESS RELEASE

Sanders Looks forward to New York Debate

APRIL 3, 2016

WAUSAU, Wis. – Bernie Sanders’ campaign spokesman Michael Briggs issued the following statement on Sunday on a debate in New York:

“Sen. Sanders has accepted an invitation from NBC News for a Sunday night prime-time debate on April 10. We hope the Clinton campaign also accepts. The April 10 debate date is one of four dates that the Sanders campaign had proposed for a debate with Secretary Clinton before the New York primary election. He is available on April 10, 11, 12 or 13. He looks forward to a debate on any of those days.

“The Clinton campaign disingenuously announced that it had agreed to a debate on another day when it knew very well that Sen. Sanders already had locked in a park permit for a major rally in New York City. Let’s get serious. Let’s get on with debating the candidates’ stands on serious issues affecting New York and the United States.”

proposing April 14 and then immediately putting out the word that Bernie refused to debate her.

And she wants to be President?

Hillary should just say FU and schedule a debate with Donald Trump instead.

Maybe if she stopped playing games, the press releases would stop.

Or she could just say FU as you suggest. That works for me ... I'm sure Bernie as well.

He accepted this nbc one after Hillary already accepted the GMA one. And it was Bernie who proposed April 14th in Brooklyn that he reneged on.

9. Uh Oh - she has a verrrry big BBQ Fundraiser Planned for Terry McAuliffe's House 5-7 PM

Can they get her to NY in time for the debate. People are paying big bucks for their 2 hours - maybe she can show up for an hour and let Bill schmooze for the 2nd hour.

Her schedule for the 4 days proposed:

Now there is a fundraiser on April 10 at Terry McAuliffe's house - a bbq for $33,400 for the very wealthy and the $2,700 for the "regular folks". That's from 5-7 PM.

On April 11 - well there are 2 events. There's a morning 8AM-10AM one - only $1,000 or $2,700 for that conversation with Hillary. Then there's an Evening fundraiser with Hillary Clinton - that is in Glen Cove NY. Much more affordable - you can get a ticket for $1,000 and the top one is only $2,700. But you don't get bbq like you do at the McAuliffe's. Just a reception. Time TBD.

I see fundraisers with John Podesta and others with Chelsea Clinton but nothing for Hillary . . . so maybe that day will work in her busy schedule. Maybe she can fit it in after her NY reception.

April 12 - busy day for Secretary Clinton. She has scheduled a fundraiser at the home of Marsha and Henry Laufer in Manalapan, Florida. This is the big one - $33,400 or for the regular folks buy a ticket for $2,700 (and you get a preferred viewing section for that measly amount). There appears to be something called Friends tickets for a paltry $500 but no idea what you get for that. Maybe you can park the guests cars! Now this one is in the afternoon - time is TBD.

She has another fundraiser at the Hilton Downtown 5:30-7:30. This must be for all the "just plain folks" because those tickets are cheap. For $1,000 you get premium seating. For $500 you get preferred seating. General seating goes for $250. Not sure what you get for the $100 tickets - it just says General Admission. Maybe you have to stand in the back.

She also has a fundraiser in Miami Beach at the home of Tiffany and Alex Heckler but only the $2,700 tickets are for sale. That time is still TBD as well. Maybe Hillary can debate from the beach! But it's going to be tough.

April 13. I doubt this day will work because this is the day of the Bill Fundraiser in Washington DC!!! This is an evening Reception with Bill and you can go for only $2,700. Guests can come for $1,000. Time is still TBD

Maybe April 13 will work for Hillary. She isn't listed on the Bill Reception Fundraiser. Only that it's in support of her.

Will be interesting to see what happens!
