"Top Sanders strategists acknowledged ... Sanders ... can't beat [Clinton]"

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/the-clinton-sanders-debate-debate/2016/04/04/d48aef92-faa5-11e5-886f-a037dba38301_story.html

And Sanders, to his credit, refuses to attack Clinton on her character, which he would have needed to do to have any chance of winning. He has stepped up his attacks on Clinton’s positions, but his parries, particularly compared with those in the Republican race, are gentle. Sanders therefore can disrupt and annoy Clinton on her way to the nomination, but he can’t beat her.

Top Sanders strategists acknowledged as much in a New York Times article Monday by Patrick Healy and Yamiche Alcindor. They were quoted speaking in the past tense and lamenting what the writers described as “missed opportunities to run an aggressive political operation in 2015 that would have presented more of a challenge to Mrs. Clinton.” Sanders strategist Tad Devine said the “central complication with Bernie is that he never wanted to cross into the zone of personal attacks because it would undercut his brand.”

Here's the relevant article.

Sounds like a post mortem to me.

The closer he gets to overtaking her, the more desperate the attempts to convince us that he has no chance.

I smell blood in the water. The Clinton camp must be close to imploding to feel they have to go to these lengths.

your interpretation is completely false and unsupported in any way by the source articles you linked.

None of his strategists have said that he can't beat her. Took you a lot of ellipses to construct that false statement, and yet what you put in quotes doesn't actually appear in either article.

Why would you craft such a flimsy falsehood and think it would fly here?

The desperation is starting to show itself... from the D.C. shenanigans to keep Bernie off the D.C. ballot to curious stories that can only arise from Brock run kitchen. There are plenty of votes left to be cast... let's wait until the fat lady sings... one way or the other...

HRC has attacked him in "artful smears" about
being someone, who disrespects women or
indirectly a racist.

Those are personal attacks however cleverly
expressed.
