Carl Bernstein is an American investigative journalist and author. Along with Bob Woodward at The Washington Post, he did the majority of the most important news reporting on the Watergate scandal. These scandals led to numerous government investigations and the eventual resignation of President Richard Nixon.

3. I don't give this guy that much credibility.

He's still cashing in from the glory days when Mark Felt, dep't dir of the FBI, decided to use him and Woodward to overthrow Tricky Dick Nixon. Other than that, I don't see what makes the guy so much more knowledgeable than any other person on the street.
Especially when he began to speak about what the White House thinks and wants, and what Obama thinks and wants. Does he have some certification from the White House and Obama to speak on their behalf? I doubt it.
