I actually agree with Bernie. The gun issue is dumb.

You can't expect a manufacturer of a legal product to bear any liability for what a criminal might use the product for.

2. I agree with him too. We can't sue car manufacturers for driver-caused accidents, nor liquor makers

I don't see why they can't be sued, when the makers of any other dangerous product can be. There's a right to bear arms, so simply making hand guns shouldn't prompt a suit, but when you are marketing military grade weapons to the general population...that should open up some liability.

Have been around For +100yrs and are extremely popular. The govt even sells them (SA) through the CMP.
