It's reached a point with me that I did not even watch last night, not even on C-Span, where at least there are no pundits talking everything nook and cranny of the event to death.

If you watched FOX news, you would think Romney won. Many idiots watch it and that is why it is neck and neck. If 48% of the people are idiots, we cannot do much. Then we have about 5% who are always undecided. They think they are smart. They are not. So, we have to make all our registered voters vote and not sit at home. That is in our hands. Let us do that. And, then convince the "smart" undecideds to split 40%-60% for Obama. Those undecideds will break for Romney just a little bit more.

It is in our hands. Look at the registered voters polls.

CNN is really trying hard at this neck and neck.

If Romney wins, I'm not going to be ok. I'll be paying higher taxes, I'll be without control over my own body, and I'll be worried every day that we'll be going to war with Iran or someone. It will be a complete replay of the eight long Bush years, only Romney is more evil than Bush ever was.

will be there at the end of the day. You can let Romney give you heartburn with his policies or just turn the damn tv off. We lived through Bush II and we can and have no choice to live through Romney if he wins. I don't think Romney is going to win but we have to be realize he could. I am trying to keep a positive side. I know when a republican is president my husband and I don't do as well financial. When it's a dem we do better. I want Obama to win. Life goes on. I pray people are fair. The problem is people hate Romney but they hate Obama more. Had Obama been white it would have been a landslide.

You are absolutely right.

But it's part of my processes to worry about things. It is a form of motivation for me...

Your last comment is especially true. If so many didn't hate Obama just because of the fact that he's black, it would be a landslide. If so many that are in church on Sundays professing brotherly love would STOP engaging in brotherly hate, it would be a landslide.

That part really saddens me the most, I think.

so called christains a lesson. They sure like looking at other wrongs but don't have a clue about their own. I guess what I am trying to say I will be 65 soon and I was always a worrier. You come to some point when you finally realize you can only control your own actions. Things are going to happen wheter we want them to or not. Worrying isn't going to change things. I feel the same saddens you feel. But I am preparing myself for the worse. Come Nov 7, what will be will be. Lets pray we have a president Obama.

Oh by the way I just read an article that might make you feel pretty good. It's in the New Yorker. Written by Jonathan Chait. It talks about Romney going around saying he is winning when he really isn't. He is pyshic us out. I don't know how to cut and paste it here to this website but it's interesting. Like Romney supposedly moving out of NC. Not true, he is moving l employee. That kind of stuff. He knows he is losing. Go over and read it. I think you'll feel much better. I know I did.

I voted yesterday, and just needed a break from it all, so I didn't watch the debate. I figured that the best the media would give us would be a 'draw' and that seems to be what most headlines are.

I fear for my country right now. I have lost faith in the general intelligence factor of the ordinary American. Too many people simply seem stupid and incapable of comprehending things. Too much religious fear. Too much focus on things that won't matter in six months. Too little focus on what is really at stake here.

I keep thinking back to 2004 when I was working a long shift at a corporate convention. Went up to my room for a few minutes and MSM was calling the election for Kerry. When I went back a few hours later it was...well, you know the rest. I just could not believe it.

As the British tabloid said on their cover - How Can 52,000,000 Americans Be So Stupid?"

Holding my breath.

Because this Nation just came through eight years of Bush, eight years and now they want to take us back to the very situation this President is bringing us out of. I am pee'ed off!!! People are voting for this fraud, and then in 2016 they will look to a Democrat to once again pull us out of the bull they voted for this idiot to once again place us in. What is FREAKING wrong with these people, especially white men???? Tell me where their minds are, someone help me to understand why they want to elect another warmonger when they just loss thousands of sons and daughters, mothers and fathers in two unnecessary wars???? Why? Someone help me understand this, because I am very confused and angry about this.

I feel the same way. How can ANYONE even consider going backwards? It simply amazes me.

I thought after 2008 that maybe we could breathe a sigh of relief, at least for a while. But that time has been way too freaking short. I don't see how anyone can vote for Romney when there is complete, utter and factual evidence that he lies about everything.

"We admitted we were powerless over ...politics ... that our lives had become unmanageable."

I'm in Europe - and got up at 2.30 am to watch the debate - and was thrilled that a client cancelled their appt. this am so I could take a nap...! But instead of napping - or doing something else "productive" with the freed up time - I found myself - again - reading every scrap of debate coverage and googling (meme + "horses and bayonets&quot .

Oct 2012

Turn off cable news.No CNN.If you have to watch MSNBC watch Martin Bashier,Al Sharpton,The Ed show,Lawrence o'Donnell and
maybe harball(depending on who Is on It)

Treat RAS's obama at 50 percent approl but only getting 45 percent of vote as joke just as If Gallup continues teir joke of polling.
PPP had good news last night from debate watchers.

Pay attention to Obama's modd and energy. This doesn't look like a guy who thinks he Is sure to lose as the MSM would like us to
believe.

that Romney is ahead of Obama. I hope this doesn't influence some people that just want to vote for the perceived winner.
I also worry that if it seems very close that it will be easier for the Repugs to steal the election.
