(2,586 posts)Famous and hilarious comedian until he went crazy after a bit. After that he's been getting in trouble with the law and getting sued. Last I heard he punched a kid in the face and got his butt kicked by that same kid.

(35,015 posts)Hillary will lose this primary and then will have plenty of time to babysit Charlotte.
BTW if you didn't hear - Hillary was on The View yesterday and said her campaign is scheduled around babysitting Charlotte. Who in their right mind believes that bullshit?

(35,015 posts)Look where we are. Anything is possible, and now Bernie is going to the Vatican, right before the NY primary. His speech will have a huge impact and you know it.

(1,054 posts)And, she's not a woman who believes in equality. She plays the gender card when she doesn't want to answer a question. Equality is just a talking point for her and a get out of jail free card. I don't believe for a second that she actually believes in racial equality. She's a goldwater girl who was still going the wrong direction up til the late 90's. She identifies with Kissenger. How the heck can she like minorities when her actions kill them in their countries? For profit prisons have been in her superpac. She's profited from racism and laws to lock blacks up younger and longer. She only started really speaking for the feminist movement the week she garnered Planned Parenthood support. There are some good articles out there on that. She about blacks right now because she wants their vote.

(30,518 posts)If she had wanted to be rude, there were far worse things she could have called him.
Hillary is a person who has been around politics her entire adult life. She was an activist first lady of Arkansas for 12 years and first lady of the nation for 8 years. She served 8 years as senator of one of the largest states in the country and 4 years as SOS. She has a unique resume that none of the other candidates can match.
It was "silly" (I would have called it outrageous and stupid) to proclaim that Hillary was unqualified to be president.

(35,015 posts)It is what it is - calling Bernie silly then cackling was beneath her unique resume. If Bernie had called Hillary "silly" on CNN and laughed you would be throwing a hissy fit.

(10,164 posts)Experience at failure, warmongering, and toadying for oligarchs is exactly why she's not qualified. Or "unfit," for those incapable of differentiating between the different meanings of the former term...

(10,164 posts)It's not a matter that can be decided purely on the basis of objective fact. Too many of the relevent criteria are subjective assessments.

(3,859 posts)Bernie will win a majority of pledged delegates and the Superdelegates will follow suit, just as they did in 2008. Bernie has closed the gap in the last month by about 100 pledged delegates and is closing fast.
Beacool
(30,518 posts)He will not win a majority of pledged delegates. Hillary is ahead by 250 pledged delegates and 2.4M votes. Sanders will win Wyoming on the 9th, but Hillary will do quite well in the upcoming large state primaries.
Admiral Loinpresser
(3,859 posts)In states like Nevada and Missouri, where the state delegates haven't elected yet, Bernie appears to be gaining ground. Not to mention voter suppression states like Arizona and Wisconsin where he could also pick up pledged state delegates. In the mean time, her lead shrinks month by month. If he wins NY, he will be the next POTUS. Time will tell. I'm betting on Bernie because despite the Corporate media and the NY tabloids shilling for Hill, he clearly has the Mojo.
I see you stay well informed. Hillary is ahead 2.4M votes (it was 2.5M), which reminds us that in his last 7 or so wins that Bernie has had a gain of 100,000 votes total. With 17 (or so) states to go, just how many must he pick up on the average to win the candidacy? Roughly 141,000 per state. I forget why I thought all this was worth mentioning. Oh, well, silly me.
Beacool
(30,518 posts)I think that Sanders has the right to run until the last vote is cast, but he should tone down the attacks. No matter what the campaign does, the math is against him. Hillary will be the nominee and he just called her unqualified to be president. That to me is crossing the line.
Thanks

(12,504 posts)At no point whatsoever did Hillary say that Bernie was Silly. She did not call him any names. It's this type of misinterpretation that is causing Bernie such bad PR right now.
She said his statement was silly. A benign and kind way to put it.
It's the very same point made in many parenting books...you avoid telling your kid that they are bad. You do not label the child, you tell them what they did was bad.
Grow up and get some reading, communication and interpersonal comprehension.

(12,233 posts)one of the worst laughs I've or most people have ever heard... So, her laughing is grating on the ears, plus makes her seem like she's laughing off real concerns to the voters this year. People are fed up with the elite and their sucking the rest of us dry. So laughing at us is rather demeaning. She doesn't pull off coy or cute with the laugh.
