What exactly is the hullabaloo over Bernie and the conference?

I thought we were all progressives, this should be a feather in the cap for all of us?

Even if he's not speaking, this means that economic immorality and inequality is starting to seriously go under the microscope.

This is a GOOD thing, for ALL of us. This really shouldn't be a "Mines better than yoooouuuurs neener neener" thing, that's big time I've got mine screw you thinking. So many mocking posts from both sides, dismissive, just plain mean. I understand why the Primaries forum was made, because of exactly this type of thing, but c'mon guys. Seriously?

All the posts in the world saying he's a liar, all the posts in the world debunking it, all the mocking and tongue wagging in the world isn't going to change the fact that at it's heart this is a good thing for all of us.

When Hillary went to other countries talking about women's rights, it was a good thing for ALL of us. 20+ years ago she went to Beijing and said “Human rights are women’s rights, and women’s rights are human rights, once and for all.” Does NO ONE remember that?

I'm a Berner, I'm proud to be a Berner. I'm damn proud to be a part of this site. But I am NOT proud of the in your face crap with the whole vatican thing. Lord knows there's many things I don't agree with the Clinton campaign on, but you can believe if Hillary had been invited by the Vatican to speak on women's rights during this time I'd be cheering her on. Why?

Because this isn't about the freaking primary, it's about our FUTURE.

This wasn't bad news. So it must be painted to look that way...

Winning comes NOW, everyone will deal with the future when it arrives.

We are in agreement. This petty stuff is unbecoming to any faction. Any time the Vatican can be moved forward into the 21st century becomes a real plus for everyone.

Both sides would be singing a different tune if it were the other way around.

Although I couldn't help but think it a sham if Hillary were to speak morally about the idolatry of money at the Vatican.
