Related: About this forumHillary keeps a Hit List of friends and enemies....And uses it to punish people who step out of line
Keeping lists of people is just good organizing and good politics. Everybody knows that. But if Hillary uses her list to punish political enemies it could help explain why she has most of the super delegates wrapped up.

(2,125 posts)screeching that he's a superdelegate and Bernie doesn't have a clear path to the nomination blah blah and how she'll still have more of the popular vote and he's voting for her come convention time.
He lost me permanently after Selection 2000 when he told Gore to sit down and shut up and take his lumps.
They have their lists and unfortunately it gives them some clout amongst the other sellouts in the party.

(4,187 posts)Though she appeared to glide above domestic politics at the State Department, she always kept one eye on the field, even following a dinner with Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace with a phone call to a New York politician who had just won a tough race for Congress. She did not spill the beans to her husband about the planned raid on Osama bin Ladens compound; the former president found out about it from a late-night call from President Obama (Hillary probably told you, the president said to a clueless Bill Clinton).

Her organization is keeping lists of people. Keeping track of people.

(4,187 posts)Most people don't have much time for the internet. Just because Bernie supporters post and re-post the same thing doesn't mean the majority of the population cares.
ETA: I'm sure LBJ kept track of people. It's a good thing for a politician to do. That's how you get things done.

(4,187 posts)She's a politician. We don't need a saint; we need someone who can get Congress to vote her way. LBJ was one of the best liberal presidents in history, and I am certain he kept careful records of who did what, who said what, who voted which way, etc.

(4,187 posts)I keep lots of things in spreadsheets. (Not excel, but LibreOffice.) My finances, my expenses, my running log, my to-do list, the names of the plants in my garden (and the dates they were planted) ....
If I were a politician, it might be a good idea to keep this sort of information in some sort of searchable file. Why not a spreadsheet? What's your point?
