During the Democratic primary he worked for the Obama senate campaign and pressured the Tribune and the Sun-Times to get the court to unseal Blair Hull's divorce papers. Those had damaging material and Obama won the primary/In the General Axelrod did the same thing against Ryan and Ryan was forced from the race. Anyone involved in politics who lived in Chicago during this period knows this.

I don't have any reason to believe he was married previously, nor do I have any reason to care.

BUT it wouldn't surprise me if Trump is trying to produce documents in some way related to the rumor.
