2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumColorado's voting mess
Rachel Maddow spent a large part of her show tonight detailing the huge problems which have come about in Colorado around registration and voting, almost all the fault of our Republican Secretary of State Scott Gessler. After spending a lot of state money on glossy tv commercials urging people to register, when they tried the phone process didn't work and they were sent to the GVote computer site which didn't work either. The last day to register 800 people were lost and we may have as many as 10,000 people who think they are registered but may not be. Being one of the closest swing states in the nation you can imagine how scary it is that we may be the Florida of 2012.

(320 posts)MUST go in 2014! I can not wait to vote him out of office. He's been on my personal political "must go" list since he challenged my right to vote because I wasn't born here.
Loathe the man and all the crap he's tried to pull this cycle.

(24,135 posts)I voted today and gone were the machines of 2004, 08, 10 elections ... brand new machines gave me chills - I live in Denver - in a very liberal hood.
He is out to scrub Dem voters and will stop at nothing to do it!

(24,135 posts)two frigging weeks before the election - this guy is as crooked as it gets.
A liberal group has asked that Gessler be investigated for taking $1400.00 petty cash acct without receipts and he whines that the Denver Post is on a "jihad" against him. I want to kick this GOP piggy with my brace!
The Westword said he found 14 last week, and now it's 300!
I'm not buying it!
